Wtf?

This was awesome. Not to be rude, but I demand more.

W-P-S responds:

maybe, one day

Fucking genius.

Really good stuff! The sheer level of creativity is uncommon for flash cartoons like this, especially the hats button. You're gonna hear it a lot, but that was definitely the best part of the movie. Totally awesome. And I loved the tape recorder playing the theme song. The voice acting was great, the characters were great, everything was great.

Frogcloset responds:

your great.

i was pondering optional hats and tashes.

but thought i would keep something for the future.
thanks

Very, very cool.

Another great animation blesses the coveted Newgrounds' front page. I must say this a quite a gem. Very stylish, very smooth, very creative. Easily deserving of a very high score.

Never heard of Yotsubato, and never played MGS.

But I still found this to be incredibly funny.

Simply beautiful.

I'm speechless.

Wow.

You've always been one of my favorites. You just reminded me why.

Missing some important stuff.

This flash was a treat, no pun intended. The writing was awesome and brilliantly twisted. That alone made it worthwhile. The voice acting was well done and the music set the tone, but what this failed with was the graphics. They were sub par. But given that this flash was already good to begin with, the graphics don't hinder the animation too much. They could only improve it.

Overall: good stuff.

Don't get it...

But I feel like you just took my virginity. And it was good.

I don't want an explanation: this is greatness on it's own.

Not quite.

The animation was great, and the characters very well drawn. Unfortunately, that's all this had going for it. The music was shit, the "plot" didn't exist, and I say there's a "plot" because that's what you seemed to shoot for, rather than animating the song, if you will, the character design was sub par (It's the band. And generic semi-goth music video chick.), and it had that certain "THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE BEFORE!" feel to it. You know, like pretty much ALL music videos in this genre.

Despite the fluidness and style of it, this animation fails in far too many places. Maybe this cuts it with fans or people who like this kind of pop culture niche, but for the rest of us, or at least people like myself, this doesn't cut it.

I'm speechless.

Not entirely, but mostly speechless. I must say, after having an incredibly grueling week of non-stop work on a monumental research project and dealing with some serious depression issues, seeing "Madness" on the front page nearly made my heart stop. In fact, this whole ride nearly made my heart stop. It was flawless, and I believe the only other time I've been this wowed by something was after the first time I saw Fight Club. I love that theres just that little bit more story involved, and the gore is phenomenal. The chainsaw was so perfect, and right after I played through Doom 3 and was in a serious chainsaw mood (Anyone that makes as violent flashes as you do must understand what a chainsaw mood is!).

Dear god, I'm tempted to sit at my computer and wait till Madness 8 comes out. Either that, or do everything I can to help. Which is nothing. So sit I shall.

Oh, and Hank looked mad fucking awesome this time around. Can't wait to see him in the next one!

I downvote my own submissions.
