No more dick jokes?

That alone made this flash worthwhile.

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised this time. It was really fucking clever, much more so than just a bunch of jacked dudes with huge dongs. As odd as this may sound, this is a much more tasteful penis related animation.

God, watching your stuff makes me feel sooo gay. But, please, don't stop making animations! Just, you know, cut down on the man parts.

You have re-invented stick figure mayhem!

I honestly don't have much to say, or really, can't find anything to say. This flash is just really great, on many levels. I've always loved these kind of ultra violent brawl flashes, but stick figures are only interesting for so long. But you have, without a doubt, breathed new life into a tired genre. I love look to these guys, and the detail put into how they smash each other to pieces. And the use of 3D was a really nice touch. Not to mention the humor, especially at the end. The sounds were great, the graphics were great, the humor was great, everything was just great! Over all: this is a fucking awesome flash.

Thanks for the in-depth review.... I actually put this project off for a while, then picked it back up to finish about 6 months later....well, keep watching, there might be a Malice and Mayhem 2....

What was the point?

You recreated a scene from a movie. Why? There really wasn't any point behind this. You just did it word for word, with higher pitched voices and children characters. That's nothing special at all. The voices were good, though, and the drawings were as well, but that doesn't validate it as being an purposeful animation.

I agree with Murderman.

I've, personally, always hated this series. For lack of time or will to go over this again, I'm just gonna tell you to re-read what Murderman wrote. Honestly, good animation alone a quality flash does not make. Stop stealing material and writing it off as inspiration. There's absolutely no creativity in this series, whatsoever. It's a lame concept for lame viewers.

In the long run this is pretty much the same thing as one of those cut and paste sprite movies everyone churns out their asses, only with prettier graphics.

You, my friend, are a genius.

This was the best flash I've seen in a long time. I enjoy watching skit based sprite movies, even though they aren't original at all, just because they can be funny, but nothing beats out original, hand drawn animations. It's good to see not everyone leeches their humor off of the same source.

Oh, and the fight scene between Mario, Luigi, and Sonic was the best scene I have ever seen in an animation, ever. No joke. I absolutely hate those stupid, free for all, DBZ based sprite fights. They're the most mundane shit, and the way you totally ripped on them really reminds me that not everyone is an uncreative robot.

You need more than just a good song.

Try making a good animation with plot that's logical and not stupid beyond words, if it even exists, fix your piss poor lip syncing, has characters that aren't recycled or have some thought actually put into them (A star with a bandit mask? A three year old could come up with better.). Stop trying to use whatever lame stereotypes you threw in and make a solid animation if you're going to tag a song that good on it. Sony wouldn't release a steaming pile of shit and call it a PS3, would they? Oh, wait... Well, you get what I mean.

Somewhat cliche, but some well done parts.

It has all the cliches of an amateur, sprite, action flash, but some of the animation was well done, and the choice in music was pretty darn good as well. Though I must say, and this is a fairly big part, the whole "Oh, I got lazy and didn't wanna make an ending" thing you did was just moronic. If you're going to make an animation, and submit it to Newgrounds for review, you might as well submit a whole animation. Not just a bunch of sprites, some music, and a half assed ending. Besides that, it was mediocre.

Shows effort, but needs improvement.

It definately needs improvement, but it's not too bad. Also, what's the song at the end called?

Narae responds:

piano black, from cowboy bebop,
What sort of improvement?

Best animation I've seen in a long time.

Like I said above, your animation prowess is astounding. I haven't seen such a well done, clean, and spectular job with the animation in a long time. Everything seemed to fit together pretty well. The only thing that seemed to stand out was the guns, when this obviously has a fantasy setting. Besides that, this definately rocked, even if they were furries. I'm not gonna lie, I don't like furries.

Awesome, though almost too violent.

Very good animation, plenty, if too much, violence, and decent sound. It's a bit of a tired genre, one that I personally enjoy, but you did a good job bringing some new flair into it. The two teams and the weapons were the strong points.

If it isn't apparent as is, the only thing that really bothered me was the violence. The characters didn't look all that spiteful or violent, which is why I was almost disturbed when they started getting blown to bits, and skin was melted off, and faces smashed or slashed.

I downvote my own submissions.
